Trick or Treat Card |
Welcome to my craft blog. Thanks for stopping by. I am sharing with you my handmade greeting cards as well as other interesting crafts. I hope these will inspire you to send a card or give a little gift to someone who needs to know you are thinking about them. Perhaps your card will encourage their day. If you think you see something you like and don't want to make it yourself, I do sell most of these items I list. Blessings to you, Linda

More Cards and Halloween, too
Happy Birthday |
I have decided to decorate the inside of my envelopes. I cut a template from paper that matches my card and glued the edges. This makes the cards even more special. Try it!

Hershey Nugget Halloween Treats
These are very inexpensive and cute to give when you have groups of people to give to. I printed out Halloween art on my PC or you can use your Halloween stamps (I didn't have any). Then I wrapped it around a Hershey Nugget. I punched out 2 scallops with my scallop punch from Halloween paper and attached it to a black card stock base using 2 nuggets. Then tied a black ribbon around the whole thing. Cute! I have to give credit to Angie at www.mychicnscratch.com .

Baby Girl Card, Hello and You're On My Mind Card
Sweet Baby Girl |
You're On My Mind |
This is a simple thinking of you card made from white card stock. I added 3 colored coordinated paper strips, punched out a butterfly from my Sizzix, added a white bow to the center of the butterfly, and stamped a sentiment on the front.

4th of July Wreath
4th of July Door Wreath |
I am getting ready for an annual July 4th family picnic and decided I was in a patriotic mood so I am decorating in red, white and blue. I made this door wreath by wrapping crepe paper around a straw wreath from Michael's. I left the plastic around the wreath so it wouldn't be so messy. I added flowers to match and stuck a piece of wire in the back for hanging. Talk about easy. This was super easy and cute, too.
Below are other things I have made in the 4th theme. And of course be sure to serve food in red, white or blue dishes along with patriotic plates, napkins and table cloths. Happy 4th!

Forks in mason jar
Windsock
These are made with white card stock and red and blue crepe paper, then hung with red ribbon.
I also stamped red and blue stars on the white card stock.
I made several windsocks and placed them around the patio area.
Rocking Chair with Red Cushion
I painted 2 old rocking chairs that were on my front porch and added red cushions.
These are great for using all year long not just on the 4th.
