July 2023 Cards

Making greeting cards is more than just card stock and ink.  It's about sharing a thoughtful craft with friends. I start with a piece of 8 1/2 by 11 card stock, cut it in half leaving the base for 2 cards. Then I decide what kind of card I want to make.  I get my ideas from other crafters, other stampers, Facebook, and Pinterest.  I get most of my supplies from Amazon or anywhere I can find a good price - even Dollar Tree.  I've purchased from Michaels in the past, but they are getting to pricey for me. Sometimes I print the image on my PC and sometimes I stamp the image.  

I always have cards for any occasion on hand to be used when needed.  I have several friends who purchase cards from me throughout the year, but most of my cards are donated to Natalie's Sisters Ministry.  The cards below are just a few of my latest cards.

Encouraging Cards

Love doing encouraging cards for Natalie Sisters Ministry.   I have to make a lot so I make them very simple.  There are always an encouraging message inside, which may be a prayer or a quote of some kind.  Here are some of my latest.

Mother's Day is almost here.  I made several cards like this one for some lady friends.  I give them even if they are not mothers, because they are special.  The verse says:

You are wonderfully made by God.  

You are precious and special to Him.  

He created you perfectly and beautifully.  

You are His perfect angel.  

Jesus loves you and we love you.

Encouraging Cards with Scripture

Here are a few more encouraging greeting cards with Scriptures.  I am using these for the street ministry I am involved. These have to be made simple so they can be done fast, because I make several monthly.  I always put a scripture inside each card and stamp a cross on the back.  I also stamp a cross and verse on the envelope since I don't know who the card will be going to.
